This year we, pruned late, pulled leaves, hedged vines several times, and bird netted to improve quality. We also spray weekly with fungicide to control powdery mildew. Wettable sulfur is used until verasion (color) and then Rallly fungicide to prevent sulfur on the grapes at crush.
